In July 2024, the 1MWp industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaic power generation project invested and constructed by Wuxi Heguang No.1 Energy Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wuxi Heguang Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd.) was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The project adopts the company's independent brand HEGATECH 550Wp solar modules equipped with SN110PT-B string inverters from Shangneng Electric. The photovoltaic power station has a first year power generation of about 1.0246 million kWh and a 25 year power generation of about 24.1389 million kWh, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 19000 tons in 25 years.
The project uses a roof area of approximately 8160 square meters and is designed and installed using BIPV mode based on the roof conditions, fully utilizing the roof area to increase installation capacity by 1.5 times. After the completion of the project, the original roof will be protected, greatly reducing the deepening of corrosion on the original roof and significantly improving the thermal insulation effect of the building (about 5 degrees Celsius).
